Who We Are: Veterans. Families. Times are changing. Only a small percentage of US citizens have served in our military. Fewer still can claim to have served this country in areas where they have faced imminent danger. The VFW prides itself on having an elite membership. Every member has either been in, or directly supported, combat service. We call them veterans of overseas campaigns, and many continue to wear the uniform proudly.
Are you one of the ELITE? If you have received a campaign medal for overseas service; have served 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days in Korea; or have ever received hostile fire or imminent danger pay, then you are probably eligible. Contact our Quartermaster, Naithan McKinney, at 208-390-5822, or one of our other officers listed in the Officers tab above to confirm eligibility and join the Rexburg Hans Jensen Post 3012 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Living in the Rexburg area is NOT a requirement for membership in the Rexburg Post.
